I am Devin Knotts, 2018 will be my 8th season playing NFL DFS. I have made five live finals by playing DFS. Join me on my journey as I start with $10,000 in bankroll and show you how I manage it, give you advice for the week, and go over lessons learned for the week.

Hi Devin - so I have Watson in every single lineup right now but that makes me nervous. I am having flashbacks to the week I went all in on Newton. Should I be? Is there any other QB worth diversifying in?
If you are playing cash setteling on one QB is not uncommon. If you are rolling out a 25% owned QB in all of your tourneys you are making a mistake. In that situation you may want to stack him with the TE or WR2. Or play him naked and hope he spreads the wealth.
Will need more details, if it is cash games going all in one quarterback is pretty common. If it's GPP the way I look at it is it depends on how many lineups you have. I almost never want to be right on the number for ownership percentages especially with the top guys, I either want to have a lot more than the field or have very little. When I say in comparison to the field, what I'm meaning is that if a guy is 25% owned in my lineups I want to be 50% or more or less than 5%. Admittedly I have 0 Watson in GPP's at the moment.
What are your thoughts on Ricardo Lewis? Playing him in Crowders spot would open up $900 and I cant imagine Crowders floor being any higher than Lewis.
I don't hate him. I honestly am still moving parts around I maybe moving off of Hopkins and bumping up McKinnon and Louis could be part of that. So many different ways to go this week which is pretty unusual for me.
I like Buck a lot this week, the matchup is not great but not horrible and with no West he should get a lot of volume. It's going to be close between McKinnon and Allen.
This is away from this particular lineup. But Gurley or Fournette in raw points? I believe LAC will stack up and make JAC play in the air. The long garbage TD's I do not beleive will be as thesible for Fournette in this game.
Devin....do you trust Engram? He is the only receiver that Eli has. Denver I am sure will be all over him. He had a horrible week last week even with all of those injuries. What about Griffin or Higbee? Gives you more room to spend elsewhere.
I like Engram just because of volume, I have moved off of him to George Kittle this week, just because Engram might actually see Chris Harris lined up against him.
Agreed that Crowder is the huge risk in this lineup, the one piece I will say is look at the whole picture it allows you to get Jones+Hopkins where going up to Thielen probably doesn't unless you come off of Hunt which I can't do.

Good info guys, thanks. They are all cash lineups. I didn’t realize it was common to go all-in on one QB.

DeleteI have about 70% Buck Allen am I crazy or is he a sharp play? Thats across cash and GPP.

Deletecurrently I have Watson/Hunt/Allen/Hopkins/Jones/Louis/Brate/Hopkins/Denv...feel Louis is easy value. Afraid of McKinnon and like Allen with West out.
ReplyDeleteThat lineup gets my stamp of approval.

ReplyDeleteDo we really trust Crowder? He hasn’t done anything all season. Fitz has let us all down before but has produced in 2 games.

ReplyDeleteWhat about Watson/hunt/allen/thielen/hopkins/crabtree/brate/hopkins/ravens d?
ReplyDeleteI want to go naked Watson, but I think Hopkins will be just too highly owned.
ReplyDeleteI am leaning towards a double stack of Watson/Hopkins and CJ/Denver
I like it.

ReplyDeleteBroncos suck vs TE but you'd think they'd focus on the middle of the field being Elis only target.

DeleteId really like to make Crowder turn into Adam Thielen and pay down else where.

DeleteDevin I just have 1 important question do you trust my cousin Hogan in cash games today, he's guaranteed me 2 Tds and 30 rushing yards.
ReplyDeleteI can't do it.
