It's not how you start, it's how you finish.

Was looking bad early on with Michael Thomas and Kelvin Benjamin starting slow, but what a finish.

Currently at 119, with the Steelers to go, should be another good day.

Update: That Juju Smith-Schuster TD hurt

  1. Congrats!

I never like your lineups, but they always do better than mine. I need about 20 from Bell/JuJu to salvage something

  2. I assume you won all your H2H Devin. Your team was just nails. I just shake my head sometimes at how spot on your lineups are most of the time. Other than Buck Allen a few weeks ago you really haven't missed much at all. Great job!

  3. 20% for JuJu was a huge shock to me -- really made me question my process this week as he was never even close to being on my radar.

  4. He was on my radar, but no way could anyone predict a 97 yard touchdown pass.

  5. I’m new to DFS and have a general question. As I am trying to figure out which sites help me, I’m wondering if the people writing subscriber content on optimal lineups follow their own advice. I was listening to one of these writers and he mentioned 2 players he played that he didn’t talk about leading up to week 8. Those 2 players cashed big. So it got me thinking, if I somehow had the corner on who would most likely cash big, why would I want to share it with the world? Just curious. Thanks!!

    1. Hey Rusty-

Was this someone on Footballguys staff? I can reach out to them and get a perspective on it.

There are two sides of this.

      1) The first potential scenario is a malicious scenario where someone is intentionally not talking about their plays that is one thing and giving out their "B" picks instead of their top plays as one of the DFS content managers I won't stand for that, and monitor it pretty closely amongst our staff.

      2) The second scenario is a non-malicious scenario. The reality is that whether it was our writer or someone else, people who play 20+ lineups will have guys that they don't talk about in their lineup. It's almost inevitable to have guys that you didn't play as it's a delicate balance in recommending their top plays versus mentioning everyone that they like and confusing the reader.
